Convenient product packing solution to Arla Foods Høgelund for the American market

Arla Foods Høgelund in Denmark is well known for high quality cheese, and especially blue cheese is one of the core products, which is now going to be launched in the USA. The blue cheese will be sliced and packed in trays for DanaReseal®® 09-06 after a very successful test at Arla Foods Høgelund in February 2014.

The sliced blue cheese is for the American burger market and its common known the burger is part of the American culture and this market has almost no limits. The American market is a very demanding market for both wholesalers and retailers and in this conjunction Arla Foods Høgelund and Danapak Flexibles managed in cooperation to find an optimum product packaging solution that fullfil all demands to the sliced blue cheese as well as all the general requirements needed in the USA.

The optimum product packaging solution was the DanaReseal®® 09-06, which has a medium barrier and seals to pure APET trays. The reseal lidding has excellent sealing and can reseal/reclose up to more than 30 times.

It was also very important for Arla Foods Høgelund to pack the sliced blue cheese, not only in an optimum packaging, but also in a patented packaging, which differentiate the sliced blue cheese from Arla Foods Høgelund as a high quality premium product on the American market.
